Bamurru Plains is located on Swim Creek Station, a coastal buffalo pastoral property near Point Stuart in the Mary River Region. The station is 10 kms from Kakadu’s western boundary. The property is situated just over 100 kms east of Darwin and 100 kms from Jabiru in Kakadu National Park.

Transfer Info:
The property is a 20 minute private charter flight from Darwin airport, or a 3 hour drive (the first hour and three quarters is on sealed tarmac road, the last hour and a quarter is on unsealed public and station roads).
- Jabiru is a 20 minute flight away or 2 ½ hours drive. On arrival at Swim Creek Station there is then a 20 minute drive back to the camp. Swim Creek Airstrip does not have adequate lighting to allow landings at night or early morning.
- Guests wishing to self-drive may do so but, as the property is a working buffalo station, guests are required to leave their vehicles at the entrance of the property from where they will be picked up by a staff member for the 20 minute drive back to camp.
