400 km East of Carnarvon, 380 km NW of Meekatharra, and 38 km N of Mt Augustus.

- If travelling north on the north west coastal highway Cobra is 400km east of Carnarvon on mostly gravel roads 158km to Gascoyne Junction where there is accommodation, meals and fuel at the hotel. If they are wanting to go to the Kennedy Ranges for camping only they would travel on the Ullawarra Rd a further 44km to the turn off. After the Kennedy Ranges turn left and travel 144km and turn right at Cobra/Gifford Creek Rd, traveling 62km to Cobra.
- Alternatively at Gascoyne Junction they can travel on the Dairy Creek Rd 222km directly to Cobra.
- If they are travelling from Exmouth it is 470km to Cobra via Burkett Rd to the North West coastal Hwy on the sealed road and then turning right on to the gravel road at Towera Rd via Nyang and turning right just past Lyndon Station. Continuing on and turning right at Cobra/Gifford Creek Rd to Cobra. This journey is 205km of sealed road and 265km of gravel with no fuel supplies.
- If traveling from Geraldton it is 98km on the Geraldton/Mt Magnet Rd to Mullewa where fuel and accommodation is available and is well known for their wildflowers.
- Travelling on the Carnarvon/Mullewa Rd on mostly gravel for 221km to Murchinson Roadhouse where fuel and camping/on site vans are available. Travelling on gravel a further 236km to Dairy Creek Homestead and turning right on to the Cobra/Dairy Creek Rd for 144km to Cobra. Places of interest on this route are Errabiddy Bluff and Bilung Pool where limited bush camping is available with no amenities.
- From Cobra Meekatharra is 380km on the Mt Augustus/Woodlands Rd, Tom PRice is 527Km via the Dooley Downs Rd with very limited supplies available on either route. Fuel both Diesel and ULP and Water is available from Cobra before leaving.

Additional Information:
- Minimum of 20 litres of water preferably in two containers, two spare tyres and keep tyre pressure not to high for the gravel roads.
- Always stay with the vehicle in the event of a breakdown.
- Do not use 4 wheel drive on the gravel when the road is dry and to careful on bends in the gravel to prevent sliding, a safe sensible speed is around 80km/hr.
- Please call us before their departure to Cobra so we can find out the route they are taking and keep a track of them for arrival.
